Corey Bruno - Rider Bio

Cory Bruno is a Category 1 cyclist living in the east county of San Diego where he trains in the surrounding mountains. 

His passion for cycling began after being inspired by watching a mountain stage of the Tour de France to grab an old mountain bike and over-confidently attack the steepest hill around. This inevitably ended with lots of heaving and vomiting; however, a true love of cycling was born that would soon lead to spandex, shaved legs, and way too much coffee. 

Since then Cory has become a bit stronger and more adept at climbing, and holds aspirations of racing professionally in the very near future. Aside from racing, Cory has a B.A. in film production and is currently working towards a master’s degree in exercise physiology. 

He’s also studied several times in Spain, and considers it a possible future home where there are plenty of mountains to climb and lots of espresso to drink.
