Swamis Racing Support - 2008

Swami's is a USCF club with a strong racing tradition. As such, part of  Swami's mission is to support our racers at *all levels*. Swami's board has  developed the following incentive and participation based plan to support  our qualifying Masters and Category 3/4 racers during the 2008  season.

Race Reimbursement Form

 Qualification Requirements

• Racers must be a member in good standing

• Racers must finish 8 races in 2008

• Only one category per race counts toward this total

• Crashes and mechanicals count toward a finish but riding  a few laps of a race and then dropping out does not count

• Racers must finish 5 out of the following 9 targeted races:

• Boulevard

• Red Trolley

• Tour de Murrieta (at least 1 event)

• Del Mar Crit Series (at least Sat 3/22 race)

• Cyclo Vets Omnium (at least 1 event)

• El Cajon Gran Prix

• Barrio Logan Gran Prix

• San Luis Rey RR

• San Marcos Circuit Race

• Racers who meet the above race requirements will receive the  following support

• Clothing allowance for 1 free kit (bibs/shorts, jersey)

• Original cost of kit ($150) will be reimbursed upon  qualification

• Discounted pricing for additional clothing

• Retroactive to beginning of season

• 50% entry fee reimbursement up to $150/season

• Free crash replacement for kits

• Racers who met the above requirements in 2007 can pre-qualify for support

• There will be 3 reimbursement dates during the season

• Spring - End of April

• Summer - End of July

• Fall - End of October

• Racers must submit reimbursement requests to the race director (click here to see a list of race directors)

• Requests must include race, category, placing and entry fee (or use this form).

• Requests must be received by May 15th for the Spring reimbursement period, August 15th for the Summer reimbursement period, and November 15th for the Fall reimbursement period.
